Schedule 10 Carbon Steel Pipe

SCHEDULE 10

Schedule 10 Carbon Steel Pipe ranges up to 36 inches in diameter and up to 0.312inches in wall thickness. This is a low schedule pipe that is used for low pressure applications. Bhansali Brothers. is a leading manufacturer and supplier of the Schedule 10 Carbon Steel Pipe and other variations in larger quantities. The material is used in general corrosive services and most general purpose domestic, commercial and industrial applications. The Sch 10 Pipe can come in any grade of carbon steel, austenitic, ferritic or martensitic steel.
Since the schedule is relatively low pressure grade, the Schedule 10 Carbon Steel Pipe Pressure Rating of this schedule pipes is also low. The pipes cannot withstand high pressures because the walls are made in thinner dimensions. Using high pressure capable pipes for ordinary low pressure applications is overkill. So the Schedule 10 Pipe Dimensions also vary with the grades to maintain just the necessary pressure capacities. For example, the 1/8 inch nominal size pipe with outside diameter of 0.41 inches and 0.28 kg per meter cube will have Schedule 10 Pipe Thickness In Mm 1.24. This is because, the diameter, the wall thickness and the weight all constitute to the pressure grade. Please contact us for more information.
