Schedule 5 Carbon Steel Pipe

SCHEDULE 5

Schedule 5 Carbon Steel Pipe is a carbon steel pipe used in low pressure applications. The wall thickness compared to other higher schedule pipes is lower in this schedule. Bhansali Brothers.is a leading supplier and manufacturer of the Schedule 5 Carbon Pipe products. The carbon steels are used for their toughness. The Sch 5 Pipe is one of the most commonly used carbon steel pipe schedules. The schedules provide information on the diameter, wall thickness and the weight of the pipes. The Schedule 5 Steel Pipe Dimensions range widely with the schedules. The schedule 5 pipes range from ½ inches to 24 inches in nominal size, 0.065mm to 0.288mm in wall thickness and the weight ranges from 0.8kg per meter to 82.47kg per meter. The dimensions are responsible for the Schedule 5 CS Pipe Pressure Rating. The higher the wall thickness to diameter ratio, the higher the pressure capacity would be. There are a number of grades of carbon steel in which schedule 5 pipes are available. Due to the Schedule 5 Pipe Wall Thickness being small compared to other grades, brittle grades do not have pipes in this schedule. These pipes are intended for low pressure services. They could be applied in water lines and in general applications where the pressure is not a problem. Please contact us for the Schedule 5 Pipe Size Chart and any other information.
